Glenda Byrne has always followed her natural tendency to be involved in business, beginning in high school and continuing through college and her professional life. She has managed a medical office; was the site director for Clinical Research of Westchester, a business she created and grew; was president and owner of Abbott Travel, a successful travel agency; and was a business education teacher.

Her business acumen, her extensive experience in marketing and advertising, as well as her first-hand knowledge of Larchmont and genuine desire to help people make decisions have been significant assets in her full-time real estate career. A consummate professional, Glenda provides comprehensive assistance to home buyers and home sellers within the greater Larchmont area.

After moving to Larchmont in 1973 with her husband, John, to take advantage of the superb schools for her two young daughters, Glenda discovered the additional enhancements of the area, such as socializing, working and volunteering with talented people in the communities of Westchester and nearby Connecticut.

Actively involved in the community, Glenda has been President of the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce; on the Board of Directors for the Women's Westchester Fairfield Golf Association, Wykagyl Women's 18 Hole Golf Association and Friends of Sound Shore Medical Center; and has participated in volunteer activities with the Junior League and New Rochelle Hospital. She enjoys playing golf and duplicate bridge.
